Over the past few decades of rapid development in the internet age, web pages have evolved from simple initial designs into meticulously crafted systems. Information has become increasingly abundant, and browsing has grown ever more convenient—yet precisely because of this, we pay less and less attention to the unseen structures lurking behind these “conveniences.”
I feel that modern web pages are often no longer about “opening a space to explore,” but more like “a predetermined path laid out for us.” Once we enter, we’re swiftly guided on what to view, what to click, and where to linger. Ads, recommendations, pop-ups, sorting algorithms… these elements have become default presences we’ve grown accustomed to, no longer finding them peculiar. Yet it’s precisely these details that subtly shape our comprehension of information, our judgment of paths, and even how we use the internet.
My experiments aim to make these structures visible again—not to improve usability, but to explore alternative ways of browsing. These are just initial attempts, yet I hope they can evolve and be modified, incorporating more diverse voices and perspectives in the future.

Extensions are a fitting medium because they can enter real webpages and interact with the structure without altering the content. They can magnify, interrupt, remove or rearrange, allowing the hidden logic to surface for a moment. These experiments come from small observations made during everyday browsing, turned into different ways of intervening in web structure.
You can download them and experience these structural shifts on any website.
As users scroll through pages, the plugin automatically identifies ad modules (such as Google’s “Sponsored” content) and dynamically enlarges these ads within the viewport, creating a blocking and attention-grabbing effect.

The starting point of this experiment comes from a familiar browsing experience. Some ads do not directly block the content but stay fixed beside it, whether on the sides of an article, at the edges of the page or in a corner. These ads create a constant sense of interruption while browsing. By visually enlarging them, the plugin makes this usually unnoticed pressure clear and direct. The aim is not to emphasize the ads themselves, but to show how the structure of a website positions these elements and how they gradually shape the user’s browsing experience.
The plugin identifies page elements marked as ads (classes containing “sponsored” or “ad”). As the user scrolls, it dynamically scales these elements when approaching the viewport center, enlarging them up to twice their original size. Each enlargement includes a brief dwell delay.
When users click any link on a webpage, the plugin will pop up various forms of "intervention pop-ups"—such as countdown confirmation boxes, multi-layer selection panels, or gaze-unlock prompt areas. These pop-ups do not appear as 'ads' or "confirmation messages," but rather as an "interruption" intervention, reminding users to pay attention to their current actions.

This experiment stems from my experience navigating websites: many pop-ups ostensibly designed for "confirmation" or "notification" subtly disrupt our rhythm and judgment. More often than not, these interventions occur automatically, leaving us unaware that we're being guided to click.Through this plugin, I aim to transform pop-ups from utilitarian tools into critical awareness mechanisms. They cease being mere UI elements and instead prompt you to recognize: you are making a decision, not mechanically following a system-preset path.It interrupts your click, forcing a brief pause—perhaps prompting reflection: Is the page you're heading to truly where you want to go? Why did you click it?In an increasingly attention-starved online environment, I aim to carve out this fleeting moment—shifting users from "going with the flow" to "becoming aware."
After detecting a user's link click event, the plugin checks whether the current domain and the clicked target meet the trigger conditions (default setting: "Random Intervention Mode" enabled).
This experiment removes all UI frameworks and design elements from webpages, retaining only content information (such as text and images). It disrupts users' reliance on and habits formed by structured interfaces. Users encounter an "unorganized webpage" no longer guided by buttons, recommendations, sidebars, navigation bars, or similar elements.

This experiment does not aim to negate the role of interfaces. Instead, it poses a methodological question through "interface removal": If information is no longer organized and guided by UI, how can we still view webpages? Can we still browse? The structural design of modern webpages—cards, columns, recommendation sections, navigation bars—is not merely for user convenience. It has become internalized as a "browsing method." We've grown accustomed to relying on these structures to comprehend content, often overlooking that they themselves constitute an "arrangement."Through this plugin, I aim to strip away these structures, pulling all content back to the "same level"—exposing all information anew in a context devoid of visual cues. Amidst the confusion of "not knowing where to look," people gain an opportunity to reconsider "how to look."
Upon activation, the plugin automatically identifies and hides all non-content elements on a webpage (such as buttons, navigation bars, card backgrounds, borders, etc.), while preserving "original content" like images and text paragraphs. Pages are then restructured into a uniform, single-column linear layout, and links no longer display special styling.
This plugin randomly selects text or image content on webpages, creating visual disturbances through dynamic zooming and flickering effects. As users scroll, these "disturbance units" frequently deform and grab attention, mimicking the "visual violence" tactics commonly used in advertising.

This experiment stems from a simple observation: the most noticeable parts of a webpage aren't necessarily its most important content—they're often the "noisiest" elements. Ads, pop-ups, GIFs, flashing text… anything sufficiently animated grabs attention. And attention is finite.I wanted to expose this mechanism—not by recreating an ad, but by embedding the "disturbance" directly into existing content. This forces you to notice "extremely animated" elements while browsing—elements that might originally be irrelevant.
After page load, the plugin randomly selects text or image elements, applying animation effects (scale, translate) to periodically enlarge and shrink them. Disturbance elements appear in different page locations, loading progressively as you scroll.
This plugin replicates and loops specific content segments on a webpage, creating the illusion of "never reaching the end" as users continuously scroll downward. Content appears to refresh endlessly, yet it's actually the same section being repeatedly displayed.

I often feel an exhaustion from "endless scrolling" while browsing social media and news sites. These platforms use infinite scrolling to turn information streams into an endless experience. Even knowing the content might repeat, your fingers keep scrolling down involuntarily. This plugin doesn't aim to solve "addiction" but to make this "trapped structure" visible. It simulates a looping content pool: the page keeps loading, yet nothing new appears. Every paragraph you see might have been viewed just two minutes ago. Information isn't flowing—it's pseudo-flowing.
The plugin automatically captures the initial paragraphs or modules (e.g., news cards, image blocks) on the page, duplicates this content, and inserts it at the bottom as users scroll near the end. This operation loops continuously, creating the illusion of infinite scrolling, yet the data always originates from the original content.
This plugin mimics the cookie consent banners found on common websites. However, after the user clicks "Accept," it not only removes the prompt but also "visibly displays all your actions on the page in real time": where your mouse hovers, where you click, how long you linger on each page, and how far you scroll. It makes data collection—which should occur "quietly in the background"—visible, tangible, and explicit on the front end.

Cookie banners are ubiquitous, and we've grown accustomed to automatically clicking "Accept." This mechanism, cloaked in the guise of "enhancing user experience," obscures the true nature of tracking and recording user behavior. As this surveillance becomes routine, we begin to forget it exists.Through this plugin, I aim to make this reality of being "recorded" visible. We think we're browsing freely, but every action is actually being logged.Cookie
When the plugin loads, it generates an emulated cookie banner, and when the user clicks 'Accept', the behaviour tracking mechanism is enabled. This mechanism includes: recording and displaying the current mouse position and dwell time; real-time display of the type and position of the tabs clicked by the user; updating the cumulative dwell time of the user on the page every 1 second; recording the height of the current position when scrolling the page; and displaying all the information in the form of hover alerts directly on the web page so that the user can't ignore it.
This plug-in allows users to freely drag the web page text, images, module location, so that the page content into a 'manipulable object', you can even add your own text on the page. You can even add your own text on the page. It is no longer a 'web page to show you', but become something you can 'manipulate' with your own hands.

Web pages usually present content in a seemingly unchangeable structure and unbreakable order. We read and click on them, but rarely edit them. This plugin was born out of an idea to reverse the perspective: if web pages have always organised our paths, what happens when we try to organise the page itself? With a simple drag-and-drop operation, the content structure of the page can be arbitrarily disrupted and reorganised, the original visual order invalidated and the logical chain broken. This is not to change a better web page, but to reveal a possibility: we can actually play with the web page, instead of only being played by the web page.
Plugin will identify common content elements on the page (e.g. paragraphs, headings, images, buttons, etc.) after running, set them to draggable state, automatically detach them from the original document flow and attach them to the interactive positioning. All operations run locally and do not affect the actual page functionality. Users can click on the 'Add my words' button to create a custom text box that can be dragged around and closed anywhere on the page.
This plugin turns every element on the page into a 'temporary presence'. When you click on it, it disappears from its original position and is moved to the 'click zone' at the bottom of the page, where it is arranged in the order you clicked on it. The original structure of the web page gradually disappears when you click on it, while the content you 'selected' is gradually stacked into a new path.

This experiment was born out of my reflection on clicking behaviour. On regular web pages, our clicks usually mean 'enter' or 'confirm', but they never leave a trace. I wanted to give each click a record, not just an action, but a reorganisation. The trace of a click is visualised, spatialised and becomes a new ordering structure. This is also a reinvention of the fluidity of the content of the web page: you no longer follow the reading path arranged by the designer to slide, but by clicking, little by little, the content is 'relocated' to a new position, and a new page is constructed in its own order. It is a dismantling of the structure and an active arrangement.
The plugin automatically marks keywords such as location, price, people, and organizations on web pages, and highlights structural modules in search results pages (such as advertising areas and AI summary areas), revealing how information is edited, recommended, and repeated.
